Pam Cotter has been a resident of Murray City since 1985. She is the mother of two daughters and has been married for 44 years (and counting) to Bill Cotter. Pam and her family have always loved Murray. It is a unique community and she would like to keep its core values while moving forward with well-planned, common sense growth. Murray has the advantage of owning its own power and water departments. Pam would work to ensure those facilities continue to be cost-effective. She is a strong supporter of Murray Police and Fire Departments and all other Murray City Departments.
Pam had the opportunity to serve as an interim City Council Member for about 3 months when she was appointed to fill a vacant seat. During that experience, she found a new way to serve the city that she loves. She will put in the time needed to prepare for each City Council meeting by studying the documents prepared for that meeting’s agenda.
Pam has worked and volunteered for Murray School District for over 30 years wherever she is needed, including a playground supervisor, teacher’s aide and substitute teacher. She has had the pleasure of teaching numerous Murray students as she filled in for teachers that took long-term breaks.
Pam looks forward to serving the needs of those who live and work in Murray as the District 2 City Council Member. She will collaborate with the community as we face new opportunities and challenges.
